Why Give?
The primary goal of the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior is to provide high quality academic programs committed to improving teaching, learning and human development in a diverse, rapidly changing and increasingly technological society. We are equally committed to developing and enhancing partnerships and other collaborative relationships with community schools, agencies and organizations in an effort to advance research, development and innovative practices.
We can achieve this by committing to assist our undergraduate and graduate students in financing the pursuit of their SIUE degree through scholarships, awards, graduate assistantships and paid internships. As we continue to address the needs of our students, it is clear that a significant part of their experience should be seeing their values reflected in the university's culture and teachings. The school has been at the forefront of diversity, equity and inclusion education, incorporating those values in a new scholar-activist group on campus.
