The Emeritus College is another means of sustaining links to SIUE. Typically, twice a year, the College schedules afternoon social events to provide opportunities to renew contacts with former colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by good food and drink. These events are sometimes attended by the Chancellor, who updates attendees on the state of the University. And the faculty who received funding through the College provide an overview and update on their projects.
