Undergraduate Resources
This page features a collection of useful information for our undergraduate students. The safety page includes resources that help our students remain safe when learning in our hands-on many laboratories. If you are working with your academic advisor to choose your courses, the prerequisites flowcharts can help you understand the organization of our curriculum. The FAQs page lists answers to some of our frequently-asked questions, but you are welcome to contact us also. Software downloads are also available to SIUE student to support learning in our classes.
Because strong communication skills are important for today’s Civil Engineers, our faculty have assembled resources to aid various technical communications. Specifically, learn more about writing memos, describing technical topics, and using significant figures appropriately.
Course descriptions provide information about what is covered in the variety of CE courses offered. Academic schedules provide key dates for each semester, such as registration and add/drop deadlines. For help with using all of the resources available through the Lovejoy Library, please contact your Technology and Engineering Librarian. The scholarships link will help you identify which opportunities are available and how to apply. If you are looking for fun ways to meet other CE majors, you are strongly encouraged to participate in one of our student organizations. Last, the forms page includes a compilation of the document you might need during your studies at SIUE’s CE Department.
