Jennifer Trapani
As the Survey Discipline Lead at Prairie Engineers, Jennifer Trapani, PLS oversees the firm’s largest department with a focus on leadership, precision, and collaboration. Over the past five years, she has managed nearly $30 million in surveying tasks, leading teams on projects ranging from a terrestrial LiDAR survey of the Rock of Ages Lighthouse in Michigan, to a large boundary survey at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, to hydrographic surveys of the Coolidge Dam in Arizona.
With more than 20 years in the profession, Jennifer brings expertise in boundary and topographic surveying, as well as geospatial data applications. A Bradley University graduate with SIUC’s Survey Specialization Certificate, she is licensed in multiple states and active in professional surveying organizations. Jennifer is a strong advocate for her team, promoting mentorship, continuous learning, and work-life balance—values that inspire the next generation of surveyors to find purpose and pride in their work.
