Accreditation
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is a set of two in-person programs of study for the Bachelor of Science degree.
The Electrical Engineering Program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical Engineering Programs.
Likewise, the Computer Engineering Program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Computer Engineering Programs.
Our constituents include representatives from local industry who help us define the programs' educational objectives. They consider our students for employment, and we strive to provide them with skilled and valuable employees. Many of our BS graduates continue education further toward the graduate degree and maintain a lifelong relationship to help with new course content and provide feedback on the university experience.
