Join the Illinois Innovation Network for the Falling Walls Lab Illinois idea competition on Friday, Sept. 12, at Innovate Springfield's new home!
This fast-paced pitch competition for early-career innovators will bring together the top young minds in Illinois to share how their discoveries will break through walls of science and society. And the winner receives a trip to Berlin, Germany, to compete in the Falling Walls Lab global finale in November!

Applicants to the competition must be students, postdocs or someone within 10 years of their bachelor's degree, seven years of their master's or medical degree, or five years of their Ph.D. This is an in-person event and remote participation will not be allowed. Applications are due on August 28, 2025.
