Due to the overwhelming response to the Climate Change and Human Health Seed Grant opportunity, we will no longer schedule phone calls or respond to emails regarding the program. Instead, we will hold multiple Zoom events each month to answer questions. See below for the schedule.

Three of the most frequently asked questions are answered here:

1) The program’s upcoming quarterly deadlines are

•       April 23, 2026
•       July 23, 2026

2) Only non-profit institutions in the United States and Canada may apply. Most American and Canadian universities, including those at the state and provincial levels, are nonprofit institutions. Very few are not. We will discuss this on the Zoom calls. 

3) The program is open to various non-profit organizations, including community groups, museums, arts organizations, and other similar entities. We encourage partnerships where a non-profit organization collaborates on a shared project with a public entity, such as a public school or library system.
