Overview
The SIUE Engagement Center is located in Birger Hall within the SIUE Foundation. We employ more than 30 students who connect with our alumni, friends, parents and students as Engagement Ambassadors. Cougar Column
The Cougar Column is a physical "Column" with plaques within the Engagement Center office that recognizes the success of our students fundraising within the Engagement Ambassador position. Those who have raised over $15,000 have a custom name plate added to the Cougar Column to honor their hard work, as well as, their LOVE and COMMITMENT to SIUE.

Eddie’s Wall of Fame
Eddie's Wall of Fame is a physical "wall" with plaques within the Engagement Center office that recognizes exceptional success while fundraising for SIUE. This special recognition is reserved only for those Engagement Ambassadors that are able to fundraise $50,000 or more during their time at the Engagement Center.

Received A Suspicious Call?
The security and protection of your data is the Engagement Center's highest priority. Therefore, if you believe someone impersonating SIUE has tried to contact you or you have received a suspicious/scam call or text please follow the steps below:
1. Search your Caller ID and identify the Phone Number in question.
2. Refer to the section titled "Engagement Center Phone Numbers" and search the list for the identified phone number.
3. If you find the identified number in our list, rest assured that the Engagement Center was reaching out. No need to call us back as we will reach out at a later time.
4. If the identified number is not found in our list, then one of two things may have happened:
- Another area of campus may be reaching out to you. (Most if not all SIUE campus phones begin with (618) 650-XXXX.)
- You have experienced a potential suspicious/scam call or text.
5. If you are unable to confirm if the call/text was from another campus department, please report your experience immediately.
