Giving to SIUE

In response to the increased demand and limited number of individuals entering the professional surveying workforce, the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s School of Engineering (SOE) is announcing the formation of a new four-year degree in land surveying and geomatics. Jackie Johnsen Hammer, whose father, Norman Johnsen, played an important role in establishing SIUE, has strengthened her ties to the University by creating two scholarships.

In honor of her late husband, Hammer created the Jeffrey S. Hammer, MD, Memorial Scholarship.
