Moving Into SIUE Housing
Spring 2025 Move-In
New students are allowed to move in at any time starting January 11, at 12:00 p.m. at Evergreen Hall. If you wish to move in earlier, please fill out the Early Arrival Form in the MyHousing portal.
If you are moving to Bluff, Prairie, Woodland, or Evergreen Hall, check-in is at the front desk of Evergreen Hall. If you are moving into Cougar Village, check-in is at the Commons Building front desk. You will receive your room key and mail stop key there.
Moving In
If you wish to use the elevator at Bluff, Prairie, Woodland, or Evergreen Hall, ask the front desk for the key and they will provide it upon request. Carts will also be available for use.
Cougar Village residents may request a driving pass at the front desk that allows them to drive up on the sidewalk near their building.

We encourage you to use the checklist below to make sure you have everything covered as you prepare for your arrival at SIUE. Please contact us if you have any questions. - Register Emergency Contact information.
- Explore all of our website resources such as what to bring, information about living in a new community, and more.
- Complete the Authorization to Release Information Form through MyHousing/Housing Forms. This allows University Housing staff to discuss housing information with parents/guardians/other support people.
- Mark your calendar for move-in and travel safely! See you then!
Fall 2024 Move-In
Students living in Bluff, Prairie, and Woodland Halls will move in on August 14 and 15. Students living in Cougar Village or Evergreen Hall will move in on August 16 and 17. Students will be able to log into MyHousing to pick their move-in day/time when they receive their housing assignment email.

Move-In Webinar
University Housing hosted a Housing Move-In webinar on Monday, July 15 at 7:00 PM CT. This was an opportunity for new incoming residents and their families to hear what to expect on Move-In Day and Welcome Weekend. We discussed what to bring, how to prepare, and some fun tips for move-in. There was an opportunity for residents and their families to ask questions. Below you can watch a recording of the webinar.

New Housing Residents:
- Summer Term 2 residents will check in to their housing assignment on Sunday, June 30 2024 after 10:00 AM at Cougar Village Commons.
Current Housing Residents: Please review your housing assignment email for check-in dates and instructions.
