Spring 2026 Move-In 

New students are allowed to move in at any time starting January 11, at 10 a.m. If you wish to move in earlier, please fill out the Early Arrival Form in the MyHousing portal. 

All halls will check in at Evergreen Hall front desk. Cougar Village residents will check in at the Cougar Village Commons Building front desk. 

Fall 2026 Move-In 

• Bluff, Prairie, and Woodland Move-In: August 19 and 20
• Cougar Village and Evergreen Hall Move-In:  August 21 and 22

Selecting Move-In Appointment 

Students are given a day and time for when they need to log into MyHousing to select their Move-In Appointment. Your Move-In Appointment is the day and time you will move into your community. You are allowed to move in at that time and any time after.

Webinar 

We will be hosting a Move-In Webinar in July. This is an opportunity for new incoming residents and their families to hear what to expect on Move-In Day and Welcome Weekend. We’ll discuss what to bring and how to prepare, and share some fun tips for move-in. There will be an opportunity for residents and their families to ask questions. Registration is to come. 

Pre Move-In Tips  

• Find your building address on our Contact Us page and find your mailstop number in MyHousing. 
• Connect with your new roommate and suitemates via phone, text, social media, video chat, or meet for coffee.

Complete the Authorization to Release Information Form through MyHousing/Housing Forms. This allows University Housing staff to discuss housing information with parents/guardians/other support people.
