Express Messaging
Express messaging is a fast method of leaving a message
without logging into your own mailbox or "ringing" the individual for whom you wish to leave a message. To compose and send the message:
- Dial the Express Messaging access number: 3141 on campus or 650-3141 off campus.
- Enter the four digit extension of the person for whom you are leaving a message, then press
.
To use a name instead of a mailbox number, see
Name Addressing.
- Wait for the tone, then record.
See
Checking and Editing a Messages or
Tagging a Message if you need to edit or tag your message.
- Hang up to send the message.
