What is Campus Activities Board (CAB)?
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is made up of students just like you, creating unforgettable events and experiences for the SIUE community!
Meet CAB: We’re the group of students who dream up, plan, and host events that bring the SIUE campus together.

When you attend an event hosted by CAB, you will:

CAB Events
The Campus Activities Board typically hosts 50+ programs and events throughout the year.
- Cougar Welcome - Kick off the school year with Cougar Welcome! The first two weeks of classes are packed with exciting events to help new and returning Cougars start the year right. From the legendary Rocky Horror Picture Show to game nights, crafting events, and more, it’s all about making memories and starting the semester strong!
- Homecoming/Family Weekend - Celebrate Cougar pride with a week full of fun and tradition! Enjoy favorites like the Homecoming Kickoff, Petting Zoo, Bags Tournament, Music Bingo, and more!
- History & Heritage Month Celebrations - We celebrate culture and diversity on our campus. Join us and learn more about stories, culture, and achievements that make our campus community vibrant.
- Back 2 School - Start the spring semester with great vibes and energy. From bingo, to crafts, movies and more, our events will get you excited to finish the semester with ease.
- SpringFest - This week-long celebration in late April is boasted as the longest-running tradition at SIUE. During this week, students can enjoy plenty of fun events like our annual Kickoff, Carnival, and Silent Disco where students get to win prizes, giveaways, and have fun!
