It is a good idea to check the subdivisions under a heading so that useful materials aren't overlooked.

Lovejoy Library subscribes to the following dance journals:

(SFX) search option from the Library's Find Journals, Magazines and More (Title) link on the homepage menu screen and the UFind catalog should be checked to ensure that Lovejoy Library has the particular issue needed. If the library doesn't have the journal you need, articles from the journal can be requested through Interlibrary Loan ( ILLiad ).
Dance journals from 1990 to current issues are shelved on the second floor on the southwest side. Most pre-1990 issues are in storage and can be requested from the Circulation Desk; delivery is usually within 24 hours. All are shelved alphabetically by title.
OTHER IMPORTANT REFERENCE SOURCES
There are a number of useful resources in the
Reference Collection
. Check materials in
the GV 1585-1790 and ML-MT call number ranges. Of special note is the International Encyclopedia of Dance, vols. 1-6 (Ref. GV 1585 .I586 1998). Another useful index is the
New York Times Index (Ref. AI 21.N45). E-books offer other research possibilities. Some
e-books about dance can be found in Credo Reference, EBL, ebrary, and Gale Virtual Reference in particular.
