SIUE School of Nursing Alumni Advisory Board
The Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) of the SIUE School of Nursing (SON) is composed of alumni who represent the nursing profession and the clinical settings where our graduates live and work.
SON Mission Statement
We inspire our students and faculty to embody the creativity to teach, the curiosity to learn, the courage to serve, and the compassion to care for others in this diverse and complex world, forever exemplifying Nursing Excellence in Action!
AAB Purpose
The purpose of the AAB is to provide support, advice and counsel that furthers the mission and adds value to the SON in areas that reflect the needs of the nursing profession and community; to promote SON to the community and region; and, to provide a leadership example of fundraising and professional efforts with students, alumni, friends of nursing, healthcare agencies/organizations, and the community-at-large. Membership is diverse, equitable and inclusive, and representative of the education and career paths of our alumni base.
