How long will it take?
Once you return to school you want to complete your program as quickly as you can to move on to that next phase in your career. SIUE’s online programs are offered in an accelerated format, with most courses being 8 weeks. For a typical undergraduate student transferring in 50-60 credit hours they are usually able to finish in 2 years if enrolling full time, including summers.
How much of my credit will transfer?
Undergraduate students are able to transfer an unlimited number of credit hours, but they must meet the minimum residency requirements of the University. If you are transferring from a regionally accredited two-year institution, you must complete 60 semester hours at a regionally accredited four-year institution and 30 of these 60 hours must be completed at SIUE to satisfy University residency requirements.
If you are transferring to SIUE from a four-year institution, you also must satisfy the 30-semester hour SIUE residency requirement.
Graduate students are able to transfer up to 9 credit hours at the discretion of the program director. Apply now and have your transcript evaluated by our experts in our Transfer Center to find out specifically how many courses you will be able to transfer toward your completion.
