Transfer Students
The SIUE School of Pharmacy may accept students who are in good academic standing with advanced standing (second professional year and above) subject to available positions in each class. An Advanced Standing Admissions Committee will evaluate all applicants applying with prior credits from another ACPE accredited degree program in pharmacy. Advanced standing admission can only be offered in fall semesters. To be considered for admission, students with advanced standing are required to:
- Complete the Transfer Student (Advanced Standing) Application (send request to pharmacy@siue.edu)
- Be currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited professional PharmD curriculum
- Pay a $250 non-refundable application fee
- Provide the SIUE School of Pharmacy with official transcripts for all college coursework
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all completed college coursework
- Have a minimum grade of "C" in all college courses used to meet course requirements for transferring into the School
It is highly recommended that students contact the Office of Professional and Student Affairs at 618-650-5150 or pharmacy@siue.edu to discuss the transfer process. The Office of Professional and Student Affairs is available to assist students throughout the transfer process.
