Apply Now: Join JMHP at NCHC 2025 in San Diego
JMHP will sponsor a small group of students to attend the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Conference, held November 6–9, 2025, in San Diego, California. NCHC brings together honors students and faculty from across the country to share ideas, present work, and explore what honors education can be.
Students selected will represent JMHP, participate fully in the conference experience, and bring their insights back to our community. Applications are open now through September 24th.
This is both super fun and super informative, so don't miss this chance to go on our dime!
This Week in Honors
- Learning Lounges are always open coworking, but our Peer Mentors schedule is out. Each Peer Mentor has an area of specialization in case a question comes up while you study. Students helping students, socializing, snacking, the way studying was meant to be. Check out the Suitable event for points! Lovejoy Library 3FL Martinson Suite 3-5pm
- Monday and Wednesday- Damilola (writing) and Aubri (bio and chem)
- Tuesday and Thursday - Jackson (writing) and Surendra (math, bio, chem, and physics)
- De-stress Thursday this week we're showing a movie! Don't ask us with which one. We're still deciding. Suggestions will be considered. Email V at vhovers@siue.edu. Showing this Thursday from 3-5pm in Lovejoy Library 3FL.
