Flock to San Diego - Deadline Extended to this Sunday
Apply Now: Join JMHP at NCHC 2025 in San Diego
JMHP will sponsor a small group of students to attend the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Conference, held November 6–9, 2025, in San Diego, California. NCHC brings together honors students and faculty from across the country to share ideas, present work, and explore what honors education can be.
Students selected will represent JMHP, participate fully in the conference experience, and bring their insights back to our community. Applications are open now through September 28th.
This is both super fun and super informative, so don't miss this chance to go on our dime!
This Week in Honors
- Tomorrow in MUC Goshen Lounge, the study abroad fair from 10-2. From 11-2, you'll find our own faculty fellow Laurie Wolff staffing a table to inform you about funding opportunities. Travel to exotic and interesting places on someone else's dime!
- Learning Lounges continue, and as you get deeper into your courses and encounter harder material, don't forget we have Peer Mentors to help you through the bog.
- De-stress Thursday this week is board games! Thursday from 3-5pm in Lovejoy Library 3FL.
Advising Announcements
- On choosing courses: Check out the catnip! Catnip gives you a quick taste of the semester's course offerings. Use these to find classes that fit your interests for when you get advised and register.
- Do Your Darn Prework Obligatory reminder for First- and Second-Years to finish your prework on Suitable before advising for the next semester!
