Acceleration

Welcome back from spring break! From now on, it's going to seem as though everything is accelerating madly. Folks who are graduating are approaching their big moment like runners at the end of a marathon. You can do it! Students who aren't graduating will have advising, registration, and the end of the semester barreling toward them. HSA and the Honors program itself has some big events coming like our Grand Opening in April which includes Shark Tank, Life of the Mind, and our big sponsor visit, or, sooner, with smaller but equally important stuff like Walk-In-Palooza and registration.
As for me, I’m celebrating other things. You might know what they are. I’m very subtle. ->

Advising Announcements
Registration opens in just two weeks. Make sure you've done your required advising meetings.
Juniors and seniors: make sure you have your Honors Hold Removal survey done by next Monday. That way, you won't need to worry about holds on registration day(s). The Hold Removal Survey is available through the JMHP Organization in Blackboard.
Service Announcements
Service process has been formalized. Once a week, we'll download the Suitable submissions and spend Friday updating. Just a note, to check your hours, you can request a balance at any time here.
Honors Student Association
Join us for our fifth annual escape room! Gather some friends and step into TV-inspired mysteries filled with nostalgia, magic, and chaos. Unravel misadventures with the Peanuts gang, chase clues alongside Scooby Doo, or test your wits and magical abilities with Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Pick your adventure and solve the puzzles before time runs out, or you'll find yourself trapped in the episode you entered. Sign up using the QR code or click here.
This past fall, the program hosted 10 Films Every Honors Student Should Watch. 10 professors pitched their favorite film, and you voted on the one you would most like to watch. (We showed it this past Thursday!) Now, it's your turn! Write a paragraph about a movie you feel honors faculty should watch, and submit it here: https://forms.gle/fxQoU4adbsLaD26NA
