Recommended Syllabus Statement:
SSCC - Alton
This course is part of the Successful Communities Collaborative (SSCC) and will focus on challenges and needs in the City of Alton. This course is one of approximately seven courses at SIUE across eight different disciplines that are working with Alton this year, focusing on sustainability issues, and directly working to help Alton accelerate city efforts toward greater sustainable policy and action. You will have a tremendous opportunity to make a real difference in Alton while gaining skills translating theory and idealism into practice. In past years, SSCC has successfully worked with Highland and Godfrey.
