CHEF's (Creating a Healthy Eating Foundation) Garden Camp
Welcome to our second annual CHEF's Garden Camp, where kids cultivate a love for exploring the wonders of gardening, cooking and eating! At this fun and educational camp, young campers will start the day digging in the garden and finish by preparing their own lunch meal. This camp combines hands-on gardening activities with exciting cooking lessons to teach kids how to turn fresh, homegrown ingredients into delicious, nutritious meals.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and experience the joy of gardening and healthy eating at CHEF's Garden Camp!
Ages/Grade Levels: Students entering 3rd through 5th grade (Ages 8-11)
When: Monday-Thursday, July 27-30, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Where: SIUE Edwardsville Campus, FRESH Nutrition Lab, Vadalabene Center; SIUE Community Teaching Garden
