SIUE East St. Louis Center for the Performing Arts Summer Enrichment Camp
The SIUE East Saint Louis Performing Arts Summer Enrichment Program is a six-week, performing arts intensive camp. The camp runs daily from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is hosted at the Wyvetter H. Younge Higher Education Campus, in East Saint Louis.
The theme for 2026 is “Broadway”. Campers will focus on music, dance, and vocal performance. Additionally, our programs are designed to encourage self-confidence, self-expression, and social awareness. Given this year’s Broadway theme, we will also be including elements of theater and acting.
The camp culminates in a final showcase, on July 10, where all the students will put their hard work on display, performing in front of friends, family, and community members. During the camp, we plan to take two, potentially three, field trips intended to provide fun and recreation as well as insight into careers in the performing arts (for example, past summer field trips have included a backstage tour of the Fox Theater). The camp is open to students ages 7-17. The cost for the full six-week program is $300.
