Jennifer Goodman
Jennifer Goodman (violin and viola) began playing violin at the age of 8 in the after-school program in the Ritenour School District. She holds a BA from Lindenwood University and a Masters in Music in Viola Performance, with an emphasis in Suzuki Violin Pedagogy, from SIUE. She is registered in Suzuki violin books 1 – 8 with Vera McCoy Sulentic and Suzuki in the Schools level 1 with Winfred Crock. She studied viola with Leonid Gotman (SLSO) and Dr. Lenora Anop (SIUE).
Ms. Jennifer is an active freelancer on viola and violin in the St. Louis metropolitan area. She is a member of Bach Society of St. Louis, the Metropolitan Orchestra of St. Louis, Gateway Festival Orchestra, and the Edwardsville Community Symphony. She has also performed with the Kingsbury Ensemble, the MUNY Orchestra, the American Kantorei, the Fox Theatre Orchestra, and Masterworks Chorale. She has held principal viola seats at St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, Washington University Orchestra, and Maryville University Orchestra.
Currently, Ms. Jennifer is Director of Orchestras for Christian School District in O’Fallon, MO, with ensembles in grades 3 through 12. She is also on the violin and viola faculty for Community Music School at Webster University.
