Meet Us
Barbara Martin, EdD, is an associate professor and program director for the Elementary Education Program in the Department of Teaching and Learning at SIUE. She teaches courses on differentiation, classroom learning environments and elementary math methods. With degrees in elementary education and curriculum instruction, Dr. Martin has specialized in the area of technology and math integration, as well as STEM integration in the elementary setting. She has published and presented on the following topics: technology integration in classrooms, higher education and teacher preparation programs, virtual learning environments, mathematics instruction in teacher preparation, and STEM in the elementary classroom.
