Our Mission
The SIUE Alumni Association shall be a valued partner of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) through the advancement and promotion of SIUE alumni, the University, and its friends.
With this mission in mind, all graduates of SIUE are automatically members of the SIUE Alumni Association.
The SIUE Alumni Association was incorporated in 1972 and is governed by a volunteer board of directors.

The SIUE Alumni Association is committed to embracing and celebrating the diversity of all SIUE Alumni– present and future, students, faculty and staff. We believe that diversity advances our organization, mission and core values. We are committed to dedicating resources to learning, promoting and practicing diversity, equity and inclusion and to share these with our alumni and SIUE campus community. As SIUE Alumni Association Board members, we pledge to be non-discriminatory, respectful and thought-provoking leaders that represent and maintain the reputation of the SIUE Alumni Association, the University and our diverse membership. We recognize that this is a collective responsibility and an effort that requires all board members’ active participation.
