2025 Regional High School Juried Art Exhibition - Dates TBD
Annual Juried Regional High School Exhibition
The Department of Art and Design at sponsors an annual High School Art Exhibition that runs February-March. Junior and senior level high school students within a 50-mile radius of Edwardsville are eligible to compete in the exhibition. Work is submitted through area high school art teachers. Each teacher can submit up to five works, either 2-D or 3-D.
A reception in the Art and Design West Gallery is open to all students, parents, teachers, and friends. During the reception, awards are announced. The exhibition is juried each year by a local artist/art historian or art educator.
Awards are also determined during the jurying process. Awards are made available for this exhibition from the SIUE Friends of Art.
Eligibility and Online Submission
Any high school junior or senior art student within a 50-mile radius of Edwardsville, Illinois will be eligible to enter one art entry in any medium, two-dimensional or three-dimensional.
Number of entries - 5 entries per instructor (The instructor will be responsible for determining which pieces are submitted).
The deadline to submit student artwork to be determined. Artwork should be submitted through our secure file drop site: https://filedrop.siue.edu/filedrop/art-exhibition. Our juror will virtually review all submitted works and decide which pieces will be accepted into this year's exhibit. They will also decide the recipients for our six monetary awards. Participating teachers will be notified of the results within 3 days of the juror's decisions.
