The Alestle - The Alestle is the award-winning student-run newspaper at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Many students that work a the Alestle are Mass Communications majors. It is a great opportunity to gain journalistic experience.
Web Radio - The Web Radio's mission is to inform, entertain and teach. It is a student-run station with support from the Mass Communications department and Student Affairs. All students are eligible to join.
WSIE - WSIE is St. Louis’ home for great Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Blues and Easy R&B. Mass Communications students are fully welcome to work at WSIE.
Study Abroad - The Mass Communications department supports students to study abroad. Our students recently studies in Argentina, Spain, and United Kingdom. Others have studied in Japan and South Korea. If you are interested in studying overseas, you are most welcome to discuss this with the department chair.
Global Village - Global Village is the student-produced news/entertainment television show at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
