The Alestle is the award-winning student-run newspaper at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Many students who work at The Alestle are Mass Communications majors. It is a great opportunity to gain journalistic experience. |

The Web Radio's mission is to inform, entertain, and teach. It is a student-run station with support from the Department of Mass Communications and Student Affairs. All students are eligible to join. |

WSIE is St. Louis’ home for great Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Blues, and Easy R&B. Mass Communications students are fully welcome to work at WSIE. |

Study Abroad allows the Mass Communications department to support students studying abroad. Our students recently studied in Argentina, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Others have studied in Japan and South Korea. If you are interested in studying overseas, you are most welcome to discuss this with the department chair. |
