Scholarships & Awards
There are numerous scholarships available to SIUE students and all students are encouraged to create an account on Academic Works to brows and submit to our scholarship opportunities. Some scholarships are open to everyone who meets the minimum criteria, while others have specific requirements (e.g. specific major or county resident).
To find out what scholarships you are eligible for, create an account on Academic Works at www.siueacademicworks.com. Once you create your account, you’ll be prompted to fill out a general application. After you complete the general application, you will be automatically considered for numerous scholarships provided you meet the minimum criteria (GPA, major, etc.). However, some scholarships require a separate application; these typically require an essay and/or letters of recommendation or a faculty nomination. Be sure to read each scholarship description thoroughly.
Even if you’ve created an Academic Works account in previous years, you MUST create a new account this year to be considered for any of these scholarships.
