Dr. James Hanlon, Ph.D., Director Dr. Hanlon is an assistant professor of geography and teaches courses in urban, political, and human geography. He has been a full-time faculty member at SIUE since 2009. Education

Mr. Hugh N. Pavitt, MPA, Research Associate Pavitt works extensively in survey research, providing survey and database design/management, data collection and data analysis services to a wide range of clients including SIUE administration and faculty, as well as to the University's external clients in Illinois and Missouri. Education

Pavitt's previous experience includes the development and implementation of organizational assessments, program evaluations and needs assessments, survey research, environmental scanning, wage and benefit studies, jobs evaluation, team building, and strategic planning. He also has several years of experience as a real estate appraiser and has been involved extensively in quality assurance programs such as ISO 9000. |

Dr. Howard Rambsy, Ph.D., East St. Louis Action Research Project Coordinator Rambsy is an associate professor of english language and literature at SIUE. Rambsy specializes in 20th Century African American literature, the Black Arts Movement, Richard Wright, and textual scholarship. He became the coordinator for the East St. Louis Action Research project in 2013. |
