View My Bill
Paper bills are not mailed to enrolled students. Instead, enrolled students are notified via official University email that your billing statement has been updated and is available to view in QuikPay. Log into your student account at siue.edu/pay-my-bill > Student Login > Student > View & Pay Account.
It is important to view your bill frequently for changes to your account. Even after your account is paid in full, charges can still be added or removed from your account.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Privacy Act protects student education records such as academic progress and financial data. Students 'own' their education records and data may not be disclosed to others without the student's consent. This includes parents.
What are the ways students can give consent for a third party to access their Bursar billing information?
1. Authorize a third party for eBilling. Granting this will give the third party the ability to view the student's account information on CougarNet. The student will need their SIUE e-ID and password, go to siue.edu/pay-my-bill and select 'Student Login'. After logging in go to the Parent Pin section and follow the steps listed here.
2. Authorization to Release Information form. To authorize various SIUE offices to speak with a Parent or Third Party regarding your personal information via in person, phone or email, then there must be an Authorization to Release Information on file. This authorization must be completed by you. You can choose which office is allowed to release your information by setting up a security password that your parent or third party will need to provide to an SIUE representative to confirm their identity. This password may be one that your parent chooses. To activate your authorized parent or third parties, please logon to Cougarnet and select Student > Student Account > Authorization to Release Information.
My employer requires a paper bill to reimburse me for tuition and fees. You may print a copy of your bill from Cougarnet (select Student, Student Account, Account Detail for Term). All pertinent billing information is provided on this web page. If your employer needs additional information or has questions, please have them call SIUE Bursar's Office at 618-650-3128. You may also request a certification of your tuition and fees here.
