September 15 (Spring) and March 15 (Fall) - Nomination Deadline
September 30 (Spring) and March 30 (Fall) - Primary Application (link to apply will be emailed to the student after nomination)
September 30 (Spring) and March 30 (Fall) - Course Selections should be emailed soon after completing the online application
November 1 (Spring) and May 1 (Fall) - Housing Application and Deposit: Please complete as soon as possible after official admittance to SIUE
December 1 (Spring) and July 1 (Fall) - Required Immunizations
December 1 (Spring) and July 1 (Fall) - Send us your Flight Itinerary and Request Airport Transportation
Payment of fees, housing, and health insurance: Typically the due date is 1-2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester, however international exchange students may wait to pay until after they arrive at SIUE.

August 12 or 13, 2024 - Arrival dates (please arrive in St. Louis before 6:00pm if you want the SIUE shuttle)
August 14-16, 2024 - International Exchange Student Orientation
August 19, 2024 - First day of classes
September 2, 2024 - Labor Day holiday - no classes
November 25-29, 2024 - Thanksgiving break – no classes
December 9-13, 2024 - Final exams
December 13, 2024 - Last day of semester – Departure date (afternoon or evening flight recommended)

January 6 or 7, 2025 - Arrival dates
January 8-10, 2025 - International Exchange Student Orientation
January 13, 2025 - First day of classes
January 20, 2025 - No class – Martin Luther King Holiday
March 10-16, 2025 - Spring break week (no classes)
May 5-9, 2025 - Final exams
May 9, 2025 - Last day of semester – Departure date (afternoon or evening flight recommended)
