October 2025 Employee of the Month - Bryce Kirby
Help us to congratulate Bryce Kirby for being chosen as the Campus Recreation October 2025 Student Employee of the month! Since his start with Campus Rec in 2023 as an Intramural (IM) official, Bryce has been a consistent and dependable employee in times when we really needed someone. Because he works hard to ensure that events and practices run smoothly, and if challenges arise, he is always the first to step in with solutions and lend a hand, Bryce was quickly promoted to Intramural supervisor and to activity coordinator. Bryce has constantly gone above and beyond the expectations of his positions and he never hesitates to support others and take initiative in tough situations. He demonstrates a strong work ethic and understands what it means to balance being both a student and a reliable employee.
Bryce is currently seeking a degree in electrical engineering. He hopes to “gain field knowledge and return to teach.” In his spare time, Bryce likes to watch Mizzou football, do photography and spend time with his wife. He likes working for Campus Recreation because he gets to work in many different areas and he likes his coworkers and the Campus Rec staff.
Whether it’s problem-solving under pressure, stepping into leadership when needed, or simply showing up ready to give his best, Bryce sets an excellent example for others to follow. His commitment, reliability, and consistency make him an invaluable member of the team. We are fortunate to have Bryce on staff, and his contributions truly elevate our workplace and the overall experience we provide. His effort does not go unnoticed, and his impact reaches far beyond day-to-day tasks! Thank you Bryce for strengthening the culture of SIUE Campus Recreation and inspiring others through your actions.
September 2025 Employee of the Month - Erianna Riggins
SIUE Campus Recreation is proud to recognize Erianna Riggins as the September 2025 Employee of the Month for her outstanding dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence! Since joining Campus Recreation in August 2022, Erianna has been an important part of our team, serving in multiple roles, including facility supervisor, Member Services attendant, student activity coordinator, and Equipment Issue attendant. Her ability to excel across so many positions shows her strong work ethic, adaptability, and passion for providing a positive experience for every student and guest. Erianna is currently pursuing a degree in social work and is on track to graduate in May 2026. With aspirations of working in higher education and ultimately becoming a dean of students, Erianna demonstrates a clear dedication to helping other students succeed.
Beyond her work at Campus Recreation, she is deeply involved on campus through organizations such as the Black Psychology Club, the Association of Black Student Social Workers, and the Student Social Workers Association. Outside of work and academics, Erianna enjoys listening to music, riding the MCT, and shopping. She has a sweet tooth for moose tracks and birthday cake ice cream—a sure way to brighten her day!
When asked why she enjoys working at SIUE Campus Recreation, Erianna expressed her appreciation for the supportive professional staff who “work hard to push us to be the best we can be.” Her positivity, initiative, and drive make her a role model for fellow student employees and a true asset to the department.
