What is Degree Works?
Degree Works is a comprehensive, web-based academic advising and degree audit tool that allows you to track your degree completion. Degree Works looks at the degree requirements of the SIUE catalog in order to compare your registered coursework and courses you have completed to assist you and advisors in reviewing your degree progress. It also allows you and your advisors to plan for future courses. The degree worksheet is divided into block requirements showing how courses taken or proposed count toward degree requirements. Checkboxes denote what courses and requirements are complete within each block.
- Degree Worksheet - This is a view that allows you to track your academic progress and determine which requirements for your degree are met, in progress, or still require completion.
- Student Educational Plans (SEP) - This is a semester-by-semester view of your academic map that will lay out a path to graduation based on classes remaining on the degree worksheet. Along with your academic advisor and faculty mentor, you will be able to create a plan based on your course selection for future semesters.
