SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School is now accepting new student applications.
The priority deadline for new student application is Friday, July 11, 2025.
All completed applications must be submitted in-person to Mrs. Muhammad in the School Office at 609 James R. Thompson Boulevard, East St. Louis, IL 62201-1118. The main office number is 618-482-8370 and her email is pamcoll@siue.edu.
All eligible students who apply and are accepted for enrollment at the Charter High School must complete the verification process with their parents/guardians at the James Williams Family Engagement Center of East St. Louis School District 189 by presenting all required enrollment documentation in accordance with applicable policies and law.
The James Williams Engagement Center is located (401 Katherine Dunham Place).
Students cannot be enrolled at Charter High School without a completed application, district verification, and a formal letter from the School.

Please note that East St. Louis residency is required for enrollment.
-RETURNING CHS STUDENTS-
If your child or children are currently enrolled at SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School, you do not have to re-register but you must provide updated contact and emergency information and updated immunization records. This form can be completed in-person with Mrs. Muhammad or any office staff prior to the first day of school. Failure to update your information could delay class scheduling and compromise enrollment status.
