Starting BHM with a good tradition, it was important for us to honor Mrs. Edith Laktzian who has for years coordinated CHS BHM, commanding this history be honored per Dr. Gina Jeffries. The entire staff, CHS students, and family members gave encouraging words and presented her with flowers.

CHS welcomed Mr. George M. Johnson to our campus. Two sessions and lunch were offered to the students, allowing time also for Q&A. Students were fully engaged with the Q&A and were given an opportunity for book signing and a picture with the author.
