Advanced Radar Research Lab
Under the guidance of Dr. Yadong Wang
The Advanced Radar Research Laboratory of SIUE provides students unique study and research opportunities on radar signal/image processing, microphysics science, application of polarimetric weather radar and remote sensing. Emphasis is placed on providing a hands-on experience for students in developing, coding, testing, and designing novel radar software and hardware. Additionally, students have the opportunity to work on real-time radar data collected by Next-Generation Polarimetric Radar, and collaborate with faculties and scientists from University of Oklahoma and National Severe Storm Laboratory.
