Audio/Visual Technical Services
As you begin planning for your event, your Event Expert will walk you through the available tech options and ask questions to make sure you're getting the right equipment to meet your needs.
Meeting Support Systems
- Laptops, presentation remotes
- USB-C multi-port docks (used to supply HDMI port for external display if needed; for client laptops only having a USB-C port; additional charges will apply)
- In-room Crestron supported L.E.D. displays (Users must be connected to the Eduroam network to connect wirelessly. NOTE: Only SIUE students, staff, and faculty with an e-id have access to the Eduroam network.)
- Ceiling mounted and portable projectors
- Speaker systems
- High-speed wireless internet throughout our facilities
Audio Support Systems
- Over-head speaker systems - Conference Center, Goshen/All Slates, Meridian Ballroom
- Standard-in-place floor level speaker system - Mississippi/Illinois
- Focusrite audio interfaces
- Shure - podium microphones, hand-held wired and wireless microphones. Wireless microphones may be made available for FULL Conference Center and Ballroom events ONLY. Events requesting the use of a wireless microphone must have a production student employee scheduled, as Tech Support, through the entirety of the event, at current student employee Tech Support rates.
