Routine Maintenance (facilities funded)
Attention Student Residents: This form is intended for state funded academic and administrative buildings. Maintenance for residential buildings should be requested from the Housing department at www.siue.edu/housing or 650-2070.
Routine MaintenanceFacilities Management (FM) provides routine maintenance for SIUE’s state funded buildings and grounds. This includes custodial work; building and building equipment operation; repairs to buildings, their components, and equipment; and landscape management. Maintenance is scheduled according to the following priorities:
- Priority 1 - Emergency: Immediate need involving system failure or affecting the health, welfare or safety of the campus community.
- Priority 2 - Rush: Urgent maintenance that does not impede safety, but results in impairment of university operations.
- Priority 3 - Time Critical: Scheduled work, time sensitive requests, corrections, managerial escalations.
- Priority 4 - Routine: Routine building maintenance, operations or departmentally-funded work.
