Description:

This workshop will focus on how instructors can use music to teach students theories and concepts, as well as how music can be used to change the mood of the classroom. Focus will be on both music as a place to start a discussion, as well as students re-writing lyrics as a way to learn the material. Specific examples will be given, with time reserved for workshop participants to work together to develop ideas related to their specific discipline.
