Description: | The goal of this book club/workshop is to help you modify, redesign, or develop one of your fall courses. You will establish learning goals for the course, identify activities and assessments consistent with those learning goals, write the course syllabus, and develop the Blackboard course in consultation with members of the Instructional Design and Learning Technologies team. Morning sessions will include discussions guided by readings from L. Dee Fink’s book, Creating Significant Learning Experiences. Afternoon sessions will be dedicated to building the course in Blackboard using ideas from the book and discussion. At the conclusion of this book club/workshop, you will have key elements of your syllabus and Blackboard course finished. |
