Faculty Summer Camp for Moving Online: Instructor Presence and Promoting Engagement

Flexibility, tone, and organization are important considerations to keep in mind when you are designing your course. Intentionally building to lower anxiety helps students get back on their feet. Allowing multiple ways to complete work helps learners self-specialize and utilizing Blackboard’s feedback tools can help you reach your students in new ways, while customizing the course to provide a unique learning experience. This workshop will cover a variety of best practices and recommendations intended to help you improve your presence in your courses, and further engage learners.
