This workshop will aim to raise awareness about gender biases and explore ways you can be a part of making SIUE a more inclusive environment. Current Advocates will introduce participants to the Advocates and Allies program, an initiative geared towards recruiting men to work for equity at SIUE. Advocates will discuss data from the campus and system climate surveys and the importance of men supporting and becoming involved in current initiatives that promote gender equity. Participants will learn about the program and how they can help make SIUE a more inclusive community. All are welcome.
