When: Tuesday, January 20th, 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Modality: In-Person.
Where: Lovejoy Library (2nd Floor), CFDI 2030.

Description: Experiential learning at its core means learning by doing! In this interactive workshop, participants will learn more about experiential learning as a flexible, evidence-based approach to help students apply and reflect on class content in practical and real-world ways. This approach works across disciplines, from the humanities and social sciences to STEM. More specifically, we will cover what it is (and what it isn’t), examine concrete examples of experiential projects from a variety of fields, and identify essential components that make these experiences meaningful rather than busy work. Whether you’re new to experiential learning or looking to refine existing assignments, this workshop offers practical strategies you can implement without redesigning your entire course. This workshop is also a great way to prepare for revising existing courses for inclusion in the Changemakers initiative, one of the priorities for 2026 EUE funding.
