Description: Join us in reading Coach for the Approach: The Educator’s New Role in the Age of AI by Lee, Uttich, Giltner, and Bojanowski. This text is a humanities-based pragmatic exploration of the potential for utilizing AI in teaching and the implications for shifts in culture and society. Divided into four parts, this discussion group will talk through logistics of AI and balancing healthy skepticism with critical understanding of what AI can do (and ought to do) in the context of education and beyond. The text itself is an OER (open educational resource) built and delivered on an open creative commons license, and is available for free here-https://stars.library.ucf.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?params=/context/oer/article/1100/&path_info=STARS_Coach_for_the_Approach.pdf]
