Description: This session explores how to make mathematical and scientific content more accessible using MathPix and related tools. Participants will learn how to convert equations, handwritten notes, and image-based math into editable, screen reader–friendly formats such as LaTeX and MathML. The session will highlight best practices for ensuring that complex notation is communicated clearly to students using assistive technologies, as well as common pitfalls when working with equation images in PDFs and course materials. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for creating, converting, and embedding accessible math content in documents, slides, and learning management systems.
