The Department of Public Administration and Policy Analysis provides graduate students seeking a degree in public administration or a related field with opportunties to participate in "paid professional internships" with local governments and nonprofits. Interns perform a wide variety of tasks, such as conducting surveys, writing grants, program evaluation, managing information systems, personnel administration, economic development, and working with citizens groups. Interns are selected on a competitive basis and gain valuable career experience while earning their graduate degree.
