Continuous Recruitment Graduate Assistantship (1260-2023)

Qualifications

Must be applying or admitted to the MS in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain a graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and ear a grade of B or better in all required core courses.

Position Description

Graduate teaching assistants will be assigned as needed by Nutrition faculty. Teaching Assistant will provide teaching support in both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Graduate Assistants are provided non-accruable paid sick leave as well as paid bereavement leave as described in the Graduate Assistant Handbook.

1. Cover letter (single spaced) explaining why you are interested in a graduate
assistantship, any experiences you have had that will help you be successful in the
position of a graduate assistant in the nutrition and dietetics program and what you
hope to gain from this experience. Information related to ability to take direction,
previous paid nutrition-related work experience, teaching in a classroom,
conducting research and/or working in a collaborative environment is of particular
interest.
