Qualifications

Applicants must currently be working towards a Master of Fine Arts degree within the Art and Design Department. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6, but no more than 12 credit hours per academic term for fall and spring. Applicants must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.

Position Description

A teaching assistant helps course instructors facilitate and enhance student learning. In some cases, the teaching assistant will be the Instructor of Record for 100 to 200 level art courses.

Graduate Assistants are provided non-accruable paid sick leave as well as paid bereavement leave as described in the Graduate Assistant Handbook.
