Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service in a professional or academic setting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to respond to students, faculty, and staff with clarity, accuracy, and diplomacy.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Capacity to work independently, follow complex procedures, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Willingness to contribute to a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with particular strength in managing spreadsheets and documents.

Prior experience working in a student services or registrar office. 

Position Description

This person will provide secretarial, clerical and data entry support for the Service Center and Registrar's office; assists with Cougar ID card production, conference card production, and assists with taking of photos at orientation sessions. They will do maintenance and continue development of the Registrar's electronic forms.

They will provide personalized service to students and other clients of the University, mainly by telephone. They will facilitate the conduct of various student business including application for admission, registration, schedule changes, withdrawal, application for graduation, request for transcripts, etc. This person serves as the primary source of information for clients inside and outside the University who contact the Service Center and Registrar's Office by phone.

Perform other duties as needed.
