Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Graduate Student Status: Must be enrolled in a
graduate program at SIUE.
Design Software Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe
Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Visual and Creative Skills: Strong sense of design,
layout, and attention to detail.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple
projects and meet deadlines.
Communication and Collaboration: Able to work
with a team, take direction, and provide creative
input.
Preferred Qualifications:
Branding Knowledge: Understanding of
marketing and brand principles.
Portfolio: Demonstrated ability through a
professional or academic portfolio of design work.

Position Description

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE)
is seeking a highly motivated and creative
Graduate Assistant to support the Creative
and Design Department within Marketing
and Communications. The Graduate Assistant
will assist with the development of visual
content, design projects, and multimedia
communications that advance the university’s
brand and engagement with internal and
external audiences. This position provides
hands-on experience in a professional creative
environment.
